The client's business is growing rapidly and is embarking on a long and exciting journey with several current and socially beneficial projects. IT plays a central role in this development, and the client now needs to strengthen the team working on IT system development. We are therefore looking for Information Security Engineers for a cutting-edge technical project.

The team works primarily remotely, with some on-site presence when needed. Virtual solutions are used for collaboration, interaction, and pair programming. On-site team days are conducted for 2–3 consecutive days per semester. There is also the possibility to work from nearby offices or hubs.

The assignment is linked to an exciting project where new technology is used to future-proof the business. The tasks involve close collaboration with several teams across different business areas to ensure requirement fulfillment and manage technical interfaces. The team continuously develops, tests, and operates systems, and we are now looking for several individuals with various competencies to build a driven and versatile team.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who wants to join a driving team where you can be creative, think new thoughts, and contribute with solutions. You thrive working closely with operational staff, while also having a good understanding of governance, processes, and regulations, and the ability to clarify these in an objective and pedagogical manner.

You have relevant education or equivalent work experience. Furthermore, we would like you to be a team player who is engaged in your tasks and has the ambition to continuously develop and learn new things.

The client is working on building a functional compliance organization capable of conducting security analyses and following up on internal audit processes within demanding regulatory compliance. The work covers several global compliance frameworks, such as NIST 800-171 Rev. 2, KSF 3.1, NIS2, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and DR.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Security practices, e.g., OWASP
• ISO 27000 series, GDPR, SOC 2, and DORA
• Requirements engineering, both formulating and analyzing requirements
• IAM, including role- and policy-based permission systems
• Practical experience with security testing, e.g., MITM testing
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written

Your Role in the Team

You will work as a requirements engineer and analyst in a small cross-functional team and report within an agile structure. The role involves contributing expertise in both regulatory interpretation and knowledge transfer within the team.

Since the team is small, it is an advantage if you have a broad technical background that also includes system development and operational environments.

The client is in a project phase where work is conducted in sprints and value is delivered to the business incrementally.

What You Will Become Part Of

You will become part of an organization with global responsibility for the development, operation, and management of common IT environments. Within the Business Applications area, work is conducted regarding governance, business development, and management within IS/IT, often serving as the primary IT interface for larger development projects.

Software Applications is responsible for and further develops IT systems that support teams in software development. The section currently consists of approximately 20 people distributed across several teams. Here, there is a flat hierarchy culture where professionalism, engagement, and collaboration are in focus. The teams support and learn from each other and achieve results together.
